FINAL ORDER AND PUBLIC
REPORT
UPON MANDATE OF FIRST
DISTRICT COURT OF APPEAL
This
matter came before the Commission on Ethics, meeting in public session on
January 24, 1992, upon the mandate of the First District Court of Appeal issued
in Louise Blackburn v. State of Florida Commission on Ethics, Docket No.
89-2776. The Court's opinion in that
case reverses the Commission's final order and remands with directions to
dismiss the charge against the Respondent.
Pursuant to this mandate, the Commission finds that the Respondent, as a member of the Gadsden County Board of County Commissioners, did not violate Section 112.313(6), Florida Statutes, as alleged. Accordingly, these complaints are dismissed.
ORDERED by the State of Florida Commission on Ethics this 24th day
of January, 1992.
